Garðar Víðir Gunnarsson joined LEX in 2009 and became a partner in 2013. He is a leading expert in the area of tax law and has advised numerous companies, both domestic and international, on tax-related matters.

Þórhallur Bergmann is a lawyer licensed to practice before the District Court. He joined LEX in 2006 and has worked continuously with the firm since then. At LEX, Þórhallur has primarily focused on insolvency law and he oversees the firm’s practice in this field.

Þórhallur’s work has mainly involved acting as a trustee in bankruptcy estates and handling financial restructuring, as well as representing creditors, bankruptcy estates, and parties affected by clawback claims. Additionally, he provides legal counsel in this field, including to financial institutions, foreign legal entities, and bankruptcy trustees. He also has specialized expertise in real estate law and contractor law.

Örn Gunnarsson is the Managing Partner at LEX law offices, with a good oversight over the different practice areas at LEX. In his legal practice, Örn has mainly advised on the mergers and acquisitions (M&A), where he has over 20 years of professional experience both as a lawyer and as a corporate advisor.

Attorney, Guðrún Lilja Sigurðardóttir, was admitted to practice before the Appeals Court in 2024. Her main field of activity is competition law and tax- and corporate law, in addition to maritime law, contract law, litigation and bankruptcy law. Guðrún Lilja is currently ranked at Legal 500 as a "Next Generation Partner" which is an exceptional acknowledgement given her tenure as a partner at LEX.

Supreme Court Attorney Arnar Þór Stefánsson joined LEX in 2004. Arnar Þór is one of the most experienced litigator at LEX and has litigated well over 300 cases before the District and Supreme courts of Iceland as well as before the EFTA-court, for companies, individuals and public entities.
