Guðrún Lilja Sigurðardóttir
Attorney, Guðrún Lilja Sigurðardóttir, was admitted to practice before the Appeals Court in 2024. Her main field of activity is competition law and tax- and corporate law, in addition to maritime law, contract law, litigation and bankruptcy law.
Guðrún Lilja is experienced in advising large and small companies and has provided legal advice to many Icelandic and international corporations in most areas that concern corporate operations, inter alia in respect of issues concerning corporate law, tax law, competition law, contract law, employment law, and compliance.
Guðrún Lilja has provided advice on competition law aspects concerning large acquisitions and investments in Iceland and handled merger notifications and communication with the competition authorities in many of the largest merger cases in Iceland for the past years. Furthermore, Guðrún Lilja litigates before the district courts and has presented landmark cases in the fields of tax- and competition law.
