Fjölnir Ólafsson

Fjölnir Ólafsson, a licensed attorney before the district courts, joined LEX as an associate in 2019 after graduating from the University of Iceland, having previously worked at LEX as a paralegal alongside his studies. Fjölnir worked as a judicial law clerk at the Court of Appeal (Landsréttur) from November 2019 until the end of 2020. In 2023, Fjölnir assumed the position of senior associate af LEX. His primary practice areas are competition law, administrative law, the law of contract and obligations, and litigation and dispute resolution. Furthermore, he has undertaken diverse projects in the field of corporate law, construction and procurement law, IP law, European law, and customs law.
