Kristín Edwald
Supreme Court Attorney, Kristín Edwald, joined LEX in 2002. Upon completion of a law degree from the University of Iceland, Kristín worked as an associate at the Counsel Office, until she became a legal expert in the Economic Crime Unit at the National Commissioner of Icelandic Police in 2000.
Kristín is one of the most experienced litigation lawyers in Iceland having extensive experience of litigation before the district courts, Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Iceland. In addition, Kristin has experience in litigation before the European Court of Human Rights. Kristín has vast experience in the field of commercial law, advising directors on corporate law, corporate governance and labor law. Furthermore, Kristín is among Iceland´s leading experts in the field of insurance law.
