LEX advises DigitalBridge on the sale of Digita Group

LEX provided legal advice to DigitalBridge, a global alternative asset manager dedicated to investing in digital infrastucture, in relation to the sale of Digita Group, owner of Íslandsturnar, to GI Partners.

Íslandsturnar, which was founded around the acquisition of Sýn‘s and Nova‘s tower portfolios in 2021, own and operate up to 400 tower sites across Iceland. Íslandsturnar are part of Digita Group, one of the largest independent tower companies in the Nordics, with tower portfolios across both Finland and Iceland as well as operating data centre and Internet of Things (IoT) platforms.

Following the transaction, Digita Group will continue to operate as an independent company within the portfolio of GI Partners. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026.

LEX acted as a legal advisor to DigitalBridge in relation to Icelandic law matters. Other legal advisors to the seller were Linklaters and Roschier.
