EU taxonomy – which business activities are green?

The EU Taxonomy Regulation entered into effect in Iceland in June 2023. Large and listed Icelandic companies will thereby need to report publicly in accordance with this European classification system for the first time in their annual reports for the financial year 2023. Eva Margrét Ævarsdóttir, partner and attorney at LEX, published an article in the Icelandic business paper Viðskiptablaðið on the EU taxonomy, its purpose and impact on Icelandic companies.
