The Icelandic news site Visir published an article by Eva Margrét Ævarsdóttir, who leads the ESG Services at LEX, about sustainability reporting. In the article, she writes about the increased demand from investors and lenders for improved data and transparency on sustainability priorities and impact of companies in their operations. She summarizes the changes proposed by the draft Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive from the EU, which is intended to enhance transparency on corporate performance in terms of sustainability, and over time bring sustainability reporting on par with financial reporting.
